Do you have any written work hidden deep in your notes, or a rant in your quarantine journal, or a favourite read, or have new/old work just chilling on your phone?
If the answer is YES, you are in luck because there will be an OPEN MIC opportunity for you to grace the stage.
The feature poet for the evening will be:
Fatma Hussein is a passionate spoken word artist. She writes to courageously challenge mental health, self (care, love, growth, awareness), conversations, thoughts, and identity. Her unique style of writing is open ended. In 2021 she released her first self published edition of her poetry book titled, The Fire in the Rain. Her book explorers the wonders of identity through experiences had or foreseeable events throughout her life. The Fire in the Rain is a photosynthesis introduction of collective conversations and thoughts. This book is her sacred keep-sake to keep spreading her honest and vulnerable words. I hope you find some love and light through her poetry.
